Kneat is among the first businesses in the country to take up new offices during the easing of COVID-19 restrictions; 12,700 sq ft allows Kneat to increase workforce by up to 100 employees.

Dublin, IE  Kneat Solutions, a leading developer of validation software for the life sciences industry, is providing its highly qualified and innovative team with a brand new, state of the art, sustainable office environment at Plassey Business Campus in Limerick, owned by Fine Grain Property.

High tempo innovation and collaboration between Kneat Solutions, Fine Grain Property and Conack Construction delivered this bespoke office solution in time for the business to return to work post COVID-19 lockdown measures in Ireland.

Eddie Ryan, CEO of Kneat Solutions said, “We are experiencing global growth in demand for our technology and scaling our work force in response.  We are excited to be getting back into our offices and expanding into Hawthorn House, located within the thriving life sciences community on the Plassey campus.  Well done to Fine Grain Property and Conack Construction for delivering a best in class user friendly and environmentally sustainable design”.

Tom O’Connor, Joint Managing Director of Conack Construction, has this to say on the all-around efforts, “Conack Construction have a One Team approach when delivering design and build contracts for Fine Grain Property’s clients. The fit out was designed in collaboration with Kneat Solutions and in spite of a pause in construction due to COVID restrictions, we’ve been able to refine the design, get everyone back to work, and deliver once restrictions were eased.”

Declan O’Connor, Fine Grain’s Head of Property, commented “This has been a great project, from start to finish.  It’s remarkable what can be achieved by a motivated group of skilled people in a short space of time under unprecedented circumstances, and the collaboration between Fine Grain, Conack, and Kneat is a great sign of things to come.”

Kneat will join global names Johnson & Johnson, Edwards Lifesciences, and Cook Medical in the ever-growing life sciences cluster in the Mid-West of Ireland.

O’Connor continues, “Our significant investment in enhancements to the Plassey Business Campus over the past two years is resulting in strong interest from businesses wishing to move into brand new, sustainable office space.”

The campus, which has benefited from improvements costing more than EUR13 million by Fine Grain Property over the past three years, is approaching full occupancy.  Just 36,000 sq ft of the 200,000 sq ft campus is now available.  Office enquiries should be directed to joint agents, Ciara McCarthy of Cushman & Wakefield, and Patrick Seymour of Power Property. The additional improvements that have been made to the infrastructure in the area by the IDA are helping to attract significant commitments from international clients.  Kneat is among the latest businesses to join the stunning success of the Plassey employment community in ICT, Life Sciences, and Financial Services.
